As with all artists, I tend to be picky about shades. I also find that when a client says "I'd like something in purple", you have to really drill down to the exact shade. To get around agony later in the process I start by creating simple digital test patches on my iPad. The end results are often please to look at by themselves and offer a peak into the overall process.
